Skiing is and has been for the most part, a sport of the affluent. Of the estimated eight million plus skiers and snow boarders in the U.S., only about ten thousand are Black. Though small in number, Blacks have found skiing can be smooth and easy, hard and fast, relaxing or challenging, always exciting, and thanks to group rates and discounts, quite affordable. Skiing is an experience that you can learn to enjoy! |
Who may join and what is the cost?
Membership is open to any adult interested in skiing. Annual dues are $50.00.

Is there a youth membership?
Yes, youth membership is open to any youth 19 years or younger who can identify with the ideas and aims of the organization. The Youth membership fee is included in the dues of the sponsoring adult. The sponsoring adult will take full responsibility for the youth member. Youth members shall not have voting privileges or hold office.
