Skiing is and has been for the most part, a sport of the affluent.  Of the estimated eight million plus skiers and snow boarders in the U.S., only about ten thousand are Black. Though small in number, Blacks have found skiing can be smooth and easy, hard and fast, relaxing or challenging, always exciting, and thanks to group rates and discounts, quite affordable.  Skiing is an experience that you can learn to enjoy!
